PBS / Freedom Riders
Website design for the "Freedom Riders" documentary film.
The film chronicles the harrowing, yet inspirational, story of six months in 1961 that changed America forever. From May until November 1961, more than 400 black and white Americans risked their lives for simply traveling together on buses and trains as they journeyed through the Deep South.
As part of the project team, we were assigned the interface design responsibilities for this documentary's companion website, working with PBS, WGBH-Boston and Technikone.
